RENO NV – Richard P. Hallman, a former resident of Royersford PA and a graduate of Spring-Ford High School, has been promoted to senior vice president and chief information officer of Employers Holding Inc., a Nevada firm specializing in insurance coverage for small businesses, the company announced in June (2010).
Hallman had served Employers Holding for the past five years as its vice president of information technology (IT) infrastructure and operations. He was responsible for managing enterprise-wide IT systems and critical data center operations.
Before joining Employers Holding, Hallman held senior IT leadership positions at Intuit Inc., where he managed data canter operations, IT site facilities and the company’s IT payroll operations activities. While at Intuit Inc., he also provided strategic and tactical IT support to various business units. Hallman previously also was IT operations manager for Computing Resources Inc.
He is retired from the U.S. military, having served 23 years in the Nevada Air National Guard and U.S. Air Force. Hallman studied electrical engineering ad Penn State and at Minot State University. He is the son of Paul and Eileen Hallman of Royersford.
