PHOENIXVILLE PA – First National Bank of Chester County, which operates a branch office at 700 Nutt Rd.,Phoenixville PA, last month (July 2010) said it has organized a team of professional women as part of its First National Wealth Management division to provide financial advice to women in the community.
What a bank spokeswoman described as a “team of seasoned, credentialed women” consists of chartered financial analysts, certified public accountants, lawyers, certified financial planners, and certified trust and financial advisers. It will be marketed as “Financial Solutions for Women.”
The group “was founded by professional women at First National … who have experienced divorce, single motherhood, job loss and taking care of an elderly parent. They understand how those life changing events can impact a women’s financial security. This is a department created by women for women,” added division executive vice president Clay Henry.

The bank, founded in 1863, is a wholly owned subsidiary of First Chester County Corp. Its 23 branch offices are located in Chester, Delaware, Lancaster and Cumberland counties. First National Wealth Management provides wealth management and trust services.
