BLUE BELL PA – The entire class of 2010 radiography graduates from Montgomery County Community College has passed the national certifying examination of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), the college announced Tuesday (Sept. 7, 2010). A total of 13 students graduated from its radiography program in May.
Students are eligible to take the comprehensive exam following graduation. It covers the entire two-year radiography curriculum and consists of five sections: radiation protection; equipment operation and quality control; radiographic procedures, patient care and education; and image production and evaluation.
Students become registered technologists upon passing, which enables them to work anywhere in the United States and Puerto Rico.
