BLUE BELL PA – The 16th annual Technology and Learning Conference for college and high school faculty members and administrators, hosted by Montgomery County Community College, will be held Oct. 1 (2010; Friday) from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. in the college’s Science Center, 340 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell PA.
The conference provides a forum for participants to share state-of-the-art information technologies, to contribute to a vision of the future of information technology in the academic enterprise, and to exchange ideas and best practices for incorporating technology, security and learning. Its 2010 theme is “New Horizons.”
It opens with a keynote address from Alfred Thompson, who is the K-12 Computer Science Academic Relations Manager for Microsoft. Corinne L. Hoisington, a full-time professor of Information Systems Technology at Central Virginia Community College in Lynchburg VA, will offer a second keynote address during lunch.
Registration for the conference is $80 for registrations received before Sept. 30, and $100 for those received after that date.
